To clear out any potential anomalies that have occurred in your document.

Don't worry about doing this, as reinserting your citations / bibliography is a very quick process. There are a number of reasons why you might unformat your document (which removes the formatted citations and bibliography from your work). To edit a reference in a bibliography, you need to edit the data for that reference in your EndNote library and then update your Word document. 18-29 (these are the start and end pages of the chapter))

Title (this is the title for the chapter).

Select Book Section for the Reference Type.

Once you have brought in the reference details for the book, In this case you will be referring to a particular chapter. This applies to, for example, where a book has an overall editor, but the chapters are written by different people.

In the bottom half of the dialog box, add e.g.

In the list of citations, click once on the one you want to edit.

In the CWYW toolbar, select, Edit and Manage Citations.

Select Find (or Enter key on keyboard).When using CWYW, you cannot edit the citations / bibliography manually in Word.

In the pop-up window, enter search term(s) to locate citation(s).

You have two options: Insert Citation or Go to EndNote:

Once you are ready to insert citations into your Word document place your cursor in the body of text, where the citation should be inserted. After you have created an EndNote Online account go to Downloads on the navigation toolbar and follow the download instructions for Cite While You Write (CWYW). Go to the EndNote Online (Cloud) tab for instructions on creating an online account. To download the Cite While You Write tool for Word you must first create an EndNote Online Account.
